As I was trying to fall asleep last night, a link to a blog popped up on my Facebook newsfeed and it caught my eye. These days, there’s a million different links all over social media and to be honest, I probably only read about 1% of them because I refuse to read negativity. But this blog made me think…I laid in bed really thinking about how true it was. We all try to be perfect; try to read more books, work out more, be kinder, brush more off, drink more water, drink less beer, smile more, fake smile less, keep in touch with friends better, find love, visit family, find more time for yoga, pray more, go to church…& the list goes on & on & on.
Relax. Live. Love. And enjoy life. Sometimes we need to stop pushing ourselves, and just enjoy every day as it comes.
Everything happens for a reason, so if you miss that one yoga class, who cares. If you drink that one extra beer, enjoy it.
Take life as it comes. And stop worrying about what others think, what others say and how others judge.
Most importantly, stop always pushing for more. You are enough, just the way you are.
