Ladies AND gents, yes I said gents too. Listen up. I have an amazing recipe, that came from a male so I know not only girls will enjoy it but men too.
What’s an easy recipe that you know you can order in any restaurant and it will most likely taste good? Chicken Caesar Wrap. When I go out for lunch or dinner with guys I am shocked at how often they order this. (I’m expecting them to order some big steak meal and instead, a chicken Caesar wrap, really? Seriously? That’s what you’re ordering when there are SO many other options on the menu? Men can be oh so lame.) And not only in restaurants but quite often guys will make this at home for dinner. So how can we spice it up to be a bit healthier and even more delicious? Lettuce Wraps. Mmmmm. Yum. And just as easy!!
-rice (brown rice for a healthier choice)
-peppers (any colour)
-soya sauce or tamari for GF
Directions: Bake chicken at 350F until cooked through. Sauté peppers, onion and zucchini. Once sautéed add cooked rice (follow cooking instructions on box or bag of rice) sauté it all together. Add soya sauce and sesame sauce. Add spoonful’s of the rice mixture onto pieces of lettuce, top with avocado, and roll er’ up. Done. Just like that.
Who said eating healthy can’t be both delicious and totally easy! This meal took me no time at all to cook, and as long as you have a veggie drawer always fully stocked then you can whip this up whenever you want! (Feel free to use any veggies in the rice that you have!)
Lettuce wraps and a big glass of water, you’ll feel so great after eating this meal I promise you. (Even if you are a guy!!)
